Creation of a new position of “Membership Director”

The Membership Director is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive membershipdevelopment program, including new members, retention of current members and the solicitation and contact of previous members. The position requires the development and production of various membership materials needed to carry out the membership work program.Nominations will be accepted for the post of Membership Director, during the annual GMDJA election process.Executive Committee.

Job Responsibilities:Membership

· Develop and implement a comprehensive membership development program, including membership recognition programs.

· Coordinate the production and distributions of renewal letters, new members solicitation materials, special appeals, etc.

· Launch coordinated mail-email campaigns when relevant.

· Meet yearly targets in membership numbers.

Track membership information, ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments of contributions, and maintain excellent records of mailings, phone and personal contact for membership solicitation throughout the year.

· Coordinate the production and distribution of timely membership reports, such as monthly membership reports at our general meeting.

· Cooperate with board members in development and implementation of membership building programs.

· Coordinate with board members in development and implementation of special membership materials and recognition programs.

Research and coordinate with the Board the approval and implementation of new membership benefits.

· Coordinate with the Media Specialist to maintain up-to-date membership information on the GMDJA web site.

· Respond to member information inquiries and other requests for assistance.

Wireless Microphone problems 698 – 806

• Arthur had problems with his wireless microphone at a wedding a few weeks ago
• DJ Glass DJ also had a problem
• Jon Davidson had problems in Alabama as well
• There were differing experiences with less expensive mics like vocopro as opposed the Shure and Senheiser
